" Sattva is the quality of intelligence, virtue and goodness and creates harmony, balance and stability. It is light (not heavy) and luminous in nature. It possesses an inward and upward motion and brings about the awakening of the soul. Sattva provides happiness and contentment of a lasting nature. It is the principle of clarity, wideness and peace, the force of love that unites all things together" David Frawley
" Every moment in time and every particle in the universe is full of sweetness, "divine sweetness"....to experience this sweetness however, requires serenity; and to experience serenity, we need a quiet mind. The challenge, therefore, is to harness the senses so that, rather than intruding on the mind's serenity, they deepen it. By choosing a path of discrimination, in which we learn to distinguish between thoughts and actions that further ensnare us in the grip of the senses and those that liberate us, we cultivate inner freedom". David M. Katz in The Yoga of Discipline, Swami Chidvilasananda.
If I could have said it better I would have tried this sweetness, inner freedom, serenity, clarity and peace is the state of Yoga. We start in the flow, we enrich our present moment awareness with audible deep balanced breath and we are able to cultivate this State of Yoga. With this liberation we are able to add more value, love deeper, see more clearly, live more authentically and honour every souls pursuit of inner freedom.
Shanti Shanti Shanti.
